    Abstract
Outlined are the initial conclusions arrived at with regards to the HCI successes and failures of wayV version 0.1.

Note that these conclusions are very much open to reevaluation and ideally some form of usability testing should be carried out.

One advantage of this approach is that as wayV goes through various revisions different HCI aspects will be highlighted and built upon.

    Functionality
    wayV consists of 2 parts:

    1. the configuration file
    2. the backend program (daemon)

The configuration file is text based, allowing people to easily edit it. Currently there is no friendly user interface to create new gestures, create actions, etc. This will be developed in later versions.

    Missing
At the moment the most obviously missing user interface aspects are:

    1. the ability to easy create gestures and associate actions with the gestures
    2. user feedback when a gesture is inputted, i.e. a user currently has no way of knowing whether their inputted gesture was matched, and if so what the resulting action will be
